Chelsea Riley Colburn Obituary

Chelsea Riley Colburn, 31, of Atkins, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Little Rock. She was born November 18, 1988, in Morrilton, daughter of Steve and Lea Ann Caldwell Riley.  She loved living life, camping, off-roading, 4-wheeling,sitting by bonfires, pole fishing and hand fishing, hunting and singing.  Chelsea was very active in youth sports and coached league and travel ball for girls and boys.  She was All-State in multiple sports and was recently named a member of the Atkins High School Hall of Fame for her performance in softball.   She played for Arkansas Tech from 2007-2009.   She loved getting together with family and friends, and above all she was proudest of being a Mom and wife. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Glenda Riley; and 2 angel babies. She is survived by her husband, Cody Colburn; children,Hadlei Colburn and Bryker Colburn; parents, Steve Riley and wife Lea Ann; father-in-law, Dwight Colburn and wife Marlena; mother-in-law, Melissa and husband David Francis; grandparents, Jim and Brenda Caldwell, and Ronnie Riley; sisters-in-law, Kara Colburn, Adrian Francis, and Abby Francis;and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, March 20, at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Warren officiating.  Visitation will be held from noon-2:00 PM,prior to services, at the church.  An online broadcast of the services is scheduled to appear on Union Grove Free Will Baptist’s Facebook page for anyone unable to attend.  Private family burial is in Childers Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers are Dalton Ennis, Chris Riley,Jeff Riley, Jimmy Dale Ennis, and Dwight Colburn. Honorary pallbearers are Jaiden Sawdy, Anthony Duvall, Ethan Duvall, and Lucas Duvall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her honor be made to the Chelsea Colburn memorial expense fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O.
