Cheryl Anne Higgins, 53, of Atkins, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born September 11, 1959, in San Bernardino, California, the daughter of Doland and Lucille Fronabarger Capes. She was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church and a loving housewife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite pastime was watching her granddaughter, Chloe, who was the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Dana Higgins; and grandparents, Monroe and Lou Capes, and Phillip and Tabitha Fronabarger. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 33 years, Danny Higgins of Atkins; daughter and son-in-law, Jennah and Josh Eastridge; granddaughter, Chloe Eastridge, all of Jerusalem; sister, Janice Parsley of Russellville; niece, Leslie DeeAnne Lamb of Rogers; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Saturday, September 14, at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. B.J. Duvall officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday. Pallbearers are Mike Warren, Johnathan McKnight, Dustin Floyd, Phillip Haney, Brad Rhodes and David Staggs. Honorary pallbearers are the Promise Seekers Sunday School class.
