Chloe Luningham

Chloe Luningham, 94, of Gumlog, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born September 10, 1917 in Gumlog Community the daughter of Arthur Lee and Fannie Duvall Byrum. She worked at International Shoe Factory for years, enjoyed selling her craft and loved her grandchildren. She was a people person and a good Christian woman that really loved the Lord. She was a member of Happy Valley Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.G. Luningham; son, Leon Luningham; 2 brothers, Homer and “Bud” Byrum; and 2 sisters, Mae Duvall and Malissa Taylor. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Burlin and Gloria Luningham and Terry and Vickie Luningham all of Russellville; daughter-in-law Nancy Luningham of Atkins; 6 grandchildren, Robert Luningham, Pamma Henderson, Penny Laymon, Tammy Latham, Greg Luningham and Lindsey Harris; 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 AM Monday, March 12 at Happy Valley Assembly of God. Burial is in Wash/Duvall Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday. Pallbearers are Robert Luningham, Greg Luningham, James Luningham, David Latham, Lendall Laymon and Tony Henderson. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Atkins Care Center.
