Clevon Yarber

Clevon Yarber, 66, of Hector, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the River Valley Hospice Home. He went to be with his Lord and Savior, as he was a man of faith. He was born June 24, 1945 in Nogo, the son of Liston and Oklia Pack Yarber. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 great-grandchild, Justin Elfers; brother Eldie Lee; and a sister, Ima Jean Reed. Clevon's brother, J.W., passed away 4 hours after Clevon died. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Yarber of Scottsville; 2 daughters and a son in law, Jodi and Mike Elfers of California and Melissa Gremillion of Tennessee; 1 son, Erik Yarber of Scottsville; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 4 sisters, Regina Pack, Christine McNitch, Carolyn Wade and Wanda Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 14 at Hector Assembly of God. Burial is in Rock Springs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6-8 pm Monday at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are Bill and Brian Stith, David and Allen Rudder, Casey and Clint Yarber Honorary pallbearers are Tyler Elfers and Dwayne Nyman
