Danny Davis, 61, of Pottsville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 3, 2010, at home. He was born August 20, 1948, in Russellville, the son of James E. and Audra Caudle Davis. He was preceded in death by his father and 2 baby brothers. He had a passion for the outdoors, he loved his horse and carriage, loved his farm and spending time with his family. He attended Point Remove Primitive Baptist Church in Russellville. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Daveline Davis of Pottsville, son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Megan Davis of Pottsville, daughter and son-in-law, Kayle and Dale Bailey of Harrison, grandson, Tate Bailey of Harrison, mother, Audra Davis, brother, James D. Davis, 3 sisters, Jean Cook, Shelia Dickens and Kay Waldo all of Pottsville, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Pottsville Assembly of God Church with Elder Harold Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Tad Chandler, Scott Lunningham, Lesley Oates, J.J. Foshee, Nathan Darter, Dickie Penn.
