Darlene Johanna Boren Epperson, 65, of Atkins, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at her home. She was born May 11, 1954, in Morrilton, the daughter of the late Lesley Early and Dortha Hass Boren. She was a CNA for many years, and a caretaker of many. She attended Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jimmy Epperson. Survivors includer her children, Jeremy Epperson and wife Rachel, and Karen Nunnelly; brother, Earl Ray Boren and wife Cricket, all of Atkins; and 4 grandchildren, Cody Roberts, Colton Epperson, Landon Seaton and Logan Seaton. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 22, at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny McCoy and Gerald Johnston officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday. Pallbearers are Eddie Banner, Phillip Boren, Richey Boren, Zack Reddell, Phillip Klober, and Dusty Rhinehart. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Roberts, Colton Epperson, Landon Seaton and Logan Seaton.
