Datheal Davis, 75, of Atkins, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at her home. She was born December 18, 1938, in Florence, Arizona. She loved her grandchildren and watching sports. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Viola Buchanan; husband, William Jay Davis; brother, John Wesley Buchanan; and sister-in-law, Joy Buchanan. She is survived by 3 sons, Jackey Jay Davis and wife Sherry, Chris Davis and wife Jodi, and William Karl Davis; 3 daughters, Thelma Davis and fiancée Ronald Lamb, Vickie Lynn and husband Richard Libby, and Angela Lynn Davis; 3 brothers, James Melton Buchanan and wife Patty, Orville Dee Buchanan and wife Patsy, David Ray Buchanan and wife Connie; sister, Elizabeth Buchanan; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 19, at Lemley Chapel with James Freeman officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
