Delton D Owens, 66, of Hector, died December 12, 2008 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 17, 1942, in Monobello, CA, the son of Dennis and Loeta Melton Owens. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Jason David Owens. He was a 1960 graduate of Pratt High School in Pratt, Kansas, and was retired as a manager in the meat department in a large food chain. He is survived by two daughters, DeeAnn Owens of Odessa TX, Donna Bentz of Odessa TX, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mother Loeta Melton Owens of Appleton AR, brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Kay Owens of St. Mary’s KS, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maxine and Ronnie Howard of Appleton AR and Marsha and Garland Childers of Midland TX and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 15, 2008, at the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Rev Randell Williams and the Rev. Richard Falbo officiating.
