Donald R. Jones, 70, of Russellville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born December 5, 1945, at Bluffton, Ar. , son of the late H.C. “Buck” and Velma Kitchens Jones. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, Lifetime member of the Plainview V.F.W and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stephanie Benefield; sisters, Thelma Morin, Bertha McCuan, Thula Nickolson, Wanda Heir, Patricia Jones; brothers, Charlie Jones and Paul Dean Jones. . He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Jones of Russellville; son, Shane Jones and wife Brandi; step daughters, Leslie Collins and husband Mike, Tammy Parks and husband Lance, grandchildren, Alyssa Thomlison and Matt Forrest, Dalton Lewis and Rachel, Brayden Jones; great grandchildren, Noah Forrest and Aubrey Forrest; brother, Ronald and wife Joan Jones; sister, Mary and husband John Schwaiger. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Monday, January 18, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. James Findley officiating. Burial is in Paschal Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers are Mike Collins, Dalton Lewis, Matt Forrest, Lance Parks, Harold Anderson, Bill Reams Honorary Pallbearers will be Brayden, Aubrey and Noah.
