Donald (Don) Monroe Malick, 60, of Mt. George passed away Monday, September 3, 2007. He was born February 25, 1947, in Morrilton, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Monroe D. and Katie Lynn McGuire Malick. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Malick and two grandchildren. He was a US Army Veteran of Viet Nam. Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Malick; 1 son, David Malick of Pine Bluff; step-sons, Richard Harris and wife, Ruth, of Mt. George, Allen Harris of Morrilton; daughter, Sherri (Nikki) Evans and her fiancé, Randy Byrd, of Mt. George; step-daughters, Terresa Tyler and husband, Rocky, of Atkins and Darlene Evans of Newport; 2 brothers-in-law, John Moore of Harkey Valley and Bill Moore of Atkins; one sister-in-law, Juanita Fryer, and husband Jim, of Atkins; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.. Graveside service and burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at Atkins City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers are Randy Byrd, Aaron Pearson, Euel Pearson, Jason Rainey, Bobby McGuire and Gene McGuire.
