Dorothy Marie Martin, 76, of Atkins, died August 7, 2010, at UAMS. She was born in Center Ridge April 10, 1934, the daughter of Dave Jefferson and Exia Isabell Medlin McElroy. She attended Atkins First Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Amos Martin; infant son, Jerry Lynn Martin; grandson, Danny Wayne Martin, Jr.; brothers, Amos McElroy, Virgil Troy McElroy and Andy McElroy; and sisters, Elzady Cotton, Emma Maynard and Hazel McElroy. She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Edith Martin of Subiaco, Randy and Melodie Martin of Atkins, and Arron and Donna Martin of Atkins; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Mark Campbell of Delaware; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister, Ruby Lynch of Morrilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 11 at Atkins First Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton. Visitation is 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at Lemley Funeral in Atkins. Pallbearers will be Allen Haney, Tylier Cotton, Dave Belcher, Chris Miller, Frank Henderson and Johnny Hearne. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Cotton and Hayden Cotton.
