Dorothy L. Signs, 80, of Atkins, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born May 29, 1935, in Atkins, daughter of the late Johnny and Zoa Sims Martin. She was a member of the Atkins First Assembly of God Church, and retired from Levi Strauss manufacturing where she worked for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Eugene Signs; and a daughter, Wanda Owens. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley and husband Alfred Thomas of Russellville, and Cindy and husband Carroll Rhoads of Mayflower; 2 sisters, Jana and husband George Farris of Dardanelle, and Debbie and husband Jim Nowlin of Atkins; 2 brothers, Johnny H. Martin and wife Lavada, and Eddie Martin and wife Becci, all of Atkins; 4 grandchildren, Robert Vickers of South Carolina, Randy Vickers and wife Christy of Ft. Smith, Alicia and husband Jeremiah Johnson of Conway, and Kimberly and husband Jeremy Dobbs of Russellville; 3 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Monday, February 1, at Atkins First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Brian Ryals officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, at Lemley Chapel.
