Emmett Parham Obituary

Emmett Parham, 80, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born March 21, 1934, in Jerusalem (Conway County), son of the late Willie and Alida Ann Parham. He was retired from the Firestone Tire Plant in Russellville. He was also a retired Free Will Baptist minister and served as Pastor at a number of churches and communities, including Jerusale, Cherry Hill, Ola, Little Rock, Sand Springs, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. His hobbies included buying, trading and selling cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Artie. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Brown Parham; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Lee Parham and wife Barbara; son, Randall W. Parham; 3 daughters, Virginia and husband Dale Davis, Sharon and husband James Campbell, and Debra and husband Richard Oglesby; step-daughter, Pam and husband John Rose; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Fred Goates officiating. Burial is in Appleton Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
