Ernest Dean Brannon, 77, of Morrilton, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary. He was born in Pottsville December 4, 1932, the son of William E. and Deana Virginia Kolb Brannon. He attended Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Brannon of Morrilton; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Pat Brannon of Amory, MS; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Joe Fougerousse of Morrilton, Susan and Chris Freyaldenhoven of Buford, GA, and Cindy Brekeen of Sheridan; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Wayne Douthit officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers are Jason Brannon, Shawn Brannon, Heath Fougerousse, Chad Fougerousse, Todd Brekeen, Jason Beck and Brannon Brekeen. Honorary pallbearers are the Senior Bible Class of Union Grove Freewill Baptist.
