Estelene Boren
Estelene L. Boren, 93, of Atkins died Friday, December 23, 2011, at The Atkins Nursing Center. She was born February 21, 1918 in Franklin County the daughter of Josiah and Martha Kizer Hood. She attended Happy Valley Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James “Jay” Boren; an infant grandson; son-in-law, Roy L. Lewis; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Mary Boren and Doug and Vicky Boren; daughter, Linda Boren Lewis, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lemley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Henry Bateman and Rev. Michael Burden officiating. Burial is in Atkins Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Obituary
