Etta Koone, 96, of Morrilton, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Morrilton. She was born October 9, 1910, at Rupert, Arkansas, to John B. and Estella E. Goates. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters, her husband, Gus Koone, three children, Billy Koone, Royce Koone and Bennie Gardner, and two grandchildren, Stephen Pack and Wanda Koone. Survivors include three daughters, Lois Creach of Louisiana, Bonnie Pack of Atkins and Euta Casto of Morrilton, 23 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday. August 2, 2007, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rupert with Rev. Lyle Koone officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Pallbearers will be Johnny Creach, Wayne Koone, Ronnie Pack, Terry Gardner, Jeff Edwards and Greg Pack.Obituary
