Evelyn Bauman, 87, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was born March 27, 1925, in Atkins, the daughter of Carl and Dora Vann Stubbs. She was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Bauman; 4 brothers, Raymond Stubbs, Hollis Stubbs, Pete Stubbs and Tommy Gene Stubbs; and 3 sisters, Sue Eakes, Ruby Eakes and Mable Hegeman. She is survived by 2 daughters, Wanda and husband Houston Heflin and Jan and husband Leon Ennis, all of Atkins; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Carlene and J.L. Austin, Mary Ann and Edwin Lollis, and Helen Haney Winton; grandchildren, Derrick and Milissa Ennis, Jessica and David Holloway, Cindy and Jim Johnson, and Shelly Boren and George Handley; and 12 great-grandchildren, Dustin Ennis, Blaine Holloway, Blake Sweeden, Katie Ennis, Kylie Ennis, Kaitlyn Waldo, Brady Sweeden, Karah Waldo, Addy Holloway, Brittany Brannon, Eric Brannon and Riley Atkinson. Funeral services are 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Jimmy Lee Chronister officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday.
