Evelyn Chronister, 58, of Atkins, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at her home. She was born March 27, 1956, in Atkins, daughter of the late Doyle and Ruby Dixon Duvall. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Hunter Chronister; brother, Danny Duvall; and a sister, Mary Jane Bird. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dale Chronister; daughter, Tabatha and husband T.J. Johnson; 5 sons, Timmy Chronister and wife Shelley, Bo Chronister and wife Wendi, Jeremy Chronister and wife Haley, Josh Chronister and wife Amanda, and Jamie Chronister and wife Alexis; 23 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lonnie Duvall and David Duvall; and a sister, Kathy Standridge. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 11, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Robert Heflin, Rev. C.W. Henderson and Rev. Justin Hubbard officiating. Burial is in Suggs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers are Corey Johnson, Chris Johnson, Kyle Chronister, Kurtis Chronister, Kennan Chronister, Jared Johnson and Dalton Turney.
