Forest Furgerson

Forest J. Furgerson, 86, of Atkins, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born January 4, 1934, in Russellville, son of the late Freelan and Ethel Choate Furgerson. He was of the Assembly of God faith, loved football and war movies, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Susan Long; a brother; and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Furgerson; son, Michael Furgerson; daughter, Pam Adams; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members who are all loved dearly. Graveside service and burial is 3:00 PM, Monday, December 21, at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Devoe Campbell officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
