Gary L. Wade

Gary L. Wade, 57, of Russellville, died December 30, 2011, at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock. He passed away from complications of pneumonia after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 30, 1954 in Martin, TN and grew up in Effingham, IL. He was employed at Taber Extrusions as a purchasing agent. He was a good man with a great sense of humor and he loved his family, his job, and his life. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. H.F. Webb; one brother, Danny Wade; and his granddaughter, Ashtin Lewis. Survivors include his wife, Joann Batson Wade; his mother, Jean Webb of Effingham, IL; two sons, Zane Wade of the home and Nathan Wade of Knoxville, TN; three daughters, Danielle Wade of LaGrange, KY, Sunny Spicer of Russellville and Lyndsay Halliburton (Justin Cruse) of Hattieville; two grandchildren, Vanessa Wade and Johnas Cruse; and sisters, Pam (Larry) Molt of Effingham, IL and Kimberly Webb of Naperville, IL. Funeral service is 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Charles Smith officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers will be Corey Light, Allen Shavers, Alex Sanders, Dearl Tucker, Mark Wilcox and Mike McDonald. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parents of Murdered Children, Inc., Central Arkansas Chapter, P.O. Box 1885, North Little Rock, AR 72115 in memory of Ashtin Lewis.
