George Glenn, 84, of Atkins, died Saturday, November 1, 2008, at Atkins Nursing Center. Born April 6, 1924, in Bentonville, he was the son of the late James Wesley and Dolly Coleman Glenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Glenn. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church at Cave Springs. Survivors include a brother, Bob Glenn of Cucamonga, California and 1 sister, Thelma Ruth Shippy of Olivehurst, California. Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Bentonville City Cemetery with Rev. Pat Robinson officiating service by Lemley Funeral Service.
