Gerald W. Horn, 64, of Atkins, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 1, 1947, in England, Arkansas, the son of J.W. and Marilyn Wootton Horn. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda Horn. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Nikki Horn of Federal Way, Washington; 1 granddaughter, Bailey Horn; 3 sisters, Shirley Rogers, Peggy Gibson and Janey Heflin; 1 brother, Danny Horn, all of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 12, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Greg Proctor officiating. Burial is in Bells Chapel Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers are Brad Biggerstaff, Randy Mewborn, Frank Gordin, Eric Sweeden, Gary Whitaker and John Sorrels.
