Geraldine Douglas, 96 of Atkins, died Friday, October 31, 2008, at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center. Born August 19, 1912, in Atkins, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late R.F. Griffin and Eva Leah Cawhorn. She was a retired nurse and preceded in death by her husband. She attended Russellville Alliance Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Bobby Jones of Atkins, 10 grandchildren, 21great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday. Private Graveside service and burial will be at Atkins City Cemetery with Rev. Charley Casto officiating, arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service.
