Gladys Jewell Duvall, 94, of Atkins, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Atkins Care Center. She was born May 7, 1917, in Pottsville, the daughter of William Thomas and Gerturde Harris Kinslow. She was retired from John’s Cleaners and a member of the Gumlog Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Faye Duvall; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by 3 sisters, Georgia Swinhart of California; Alice Jobe of Virginia; Mary Ashmore of California; 11 nieces and 8 nephews. Funeral services are 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 5 at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Ottis Mackey and Rev. Frank Richter officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday.
