Grace Tripp Bolin

Grace Tripp Bolin, 80, of Hector, beloved mother and sister, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at her home. Grace “T” was born in Hector on August 2, 1934 to Millus and Ora Lee Tripp, the eighth of ten children. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Bolin; three brothers, Elvin “Bob” Tripp, Tom Tripp, and Millus Tripp; and three sisters, Jean Tripp, Ruth Byford, and Betty Witcomb. Grace T is survived by her three children and their spouses, Brett and Debra Stuart of Conway, AR; Beth and Ken Brown of Hector, AR; and Mary and David Bowman of Richmond Hill, GA. She has three grandchildren, Emi Stuart of Fayetteville, AR; Carrie-Anne Blackburn of Commerce, GA; and David Bowman of Indianapolis, IN. Mrs. Bolin has one surviving brother, Carl Ed Tripp of Appleton, AR; and two sisters, Billie Shank of Las Vegas, NV and Mickey Donahue of Harrison, AR. She has five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bolin owned and operated her own business, “Herb’s Place” in Mt. Judea for many years. She graduated from college with Highest Honors and was inducted as member of the National Honor Society. After the death of her husband, Herbert Bolin, Mrs. Bolin returned to the home of her heart, Hector, AR. Mrs. Bolin attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church from the time she was a child. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 28, at Lemley Chapel, with Bro. Glendon Garrison officiating. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday. Pallbearers are Brett Wayne Stuart, Ken Brown, Keith Marable, Carl Ed Tripp, J.W. Mackey and Mike Hollobaugh. Honorary pallbearers are David Bowman, David M. Bowman, Harold Tripp, Verlin Pruitt, Garry Stewart, M.D., and staff, and the nursing staff of 2N Conway Regional Medical Center.
