On July 23, 2019, the world lost a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend: Gregory Kirk Luningham. Greg, as he was known, was born September 16, 1968, to Leon and Nancy Luningham. He was an avid musician who shared his love of music passionately with those around him whether it be on a guitar, harmonica, drums, or just through song. He is preceded in death by his father, Leon Luningham; paternal grandparents, A.G. and Chloe Luningham; and maternal grandparents, Corry and Corrine Burnett. He is survived by a daughter, Meagan Luningham; mother, Nancy Luningham; siblings, Robert (Misty) Luningham, Pamma (Robert) Henderson, Penny (Michal) Laymon, Tammy (Craig) Latham; and numerous nieces and nephews who all adored him. Funeral services will be held noon, Saturday, July 27, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Bishop officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Honorary pallbearers are Lendall Laymon, James Luningham, Tony Henderson, David Latham, Kyle Luningham, and Conner Norman.
