Gwenda Morrison, 78, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born January 11, 1939, in Haleyville, Alabama, daughter of the late C.T. and Lona Poore Clement. She was a member of the Atkins Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Morrison; son, Michael Holt; 2 sisters, Stella Waid and Jimmie Tidwell; and 2 brothers, Gene Clement and Gary Clement. She is survived by a son, Jeff Holt; brother, Richard Clement; sister, Millie Griffith; 3 grandchildren, Jeffery Holt, Michelle Holt, and Pamela Chavez; and 4 great-grandchildren, Noah Holt, Carter Holt, Andrea Chavez, and Christopher Chavez. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, May 1, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Lemley Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thanks to St. Mary’s ICU for taking great care of their loved one.
