Hazel Bond
Hazel Norris Bond, 90, of Rogers died Saturday, January 3, 2009. She was born November 25, 1918, on Crow Mountain the daughter of Chester A. and Ada McAnulty Norris. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Reverend Edwin Bond, an infant son, her parents and a sister Melba Teeter. She was a lifetime member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her sister, Oma Bond; three brothers, James A., Carl and Carroll Norris; three children, James R. Bond, Nina Jones and Ina Donnell, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 7, at Mars Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church by Lemley Funeral Service. The Rev. Bill Moody, Dr. Gaylon Johnson, the Rev. David Downum and the Rev. Lisa Scott are officiating. Burial is in Hoskins Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 PM Wednesday. Pallbearers are Grant Messner, Vince Bond, David Free, Joe Norris, Kurt Jones, and Danny Wilson. Memorials can be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.Obituary
