Helen Campbell Obituary

Helen M. Campbell, 65, formerly of Dover, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at Deerview Nursing Center in Ola. She was born November 13, 1948, in Ben Hur, daughter of the late Charlie and Maudie Asher Brown. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn J. Campbell; parents; son-in-law, Billy Allen; and 3 brothers, Midge, William, and James Brown. She is survived by her son, Johnny Wayne Campbell (Susan) of Russellville; daughters, Rita and husband Phil Knight of Harrison, Alice Allen, Nora and husband Kevin Warnick, and Sandra and husband Randy Apple, all of Dover; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ray Brown of Russellville, Monroe Brown of Waldron, and Johnny Brown of Pottsville; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family; and a sister-in-law, Florence Carmichael of Kansas City, MO. Graveside service and burial is 2:00 PM, Monday, May 19, at Cowell Cemetery in Newton County with Rev. Devoe Campbell officiating. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Lemley Chapel in Atkins.
