Helen L. Duvall, 76, of Atkins died Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born July 8, 1935 in Jefferson County the daughter of Alec and Mattie Brown Rushing. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Floyd Beavers, Thurman Beavers and James Beavers; and son, James Lloyd Bridges. She is survived by her husband, David H. Duvall; 3 sons, Roy Bridges, Cliff Bridges and wife Ellen, and Wayne Bridges and wife Wanda; 5 daughters, Barbara Cole, Carolyn Murray, Sylvia Murchison and husband Harold, Frances Wojhoski and Mary Moody and husband Billy; 3 sisters, Gladys Benskin, Carolyn Wallace and Betty Coffman; 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial is 2:00 PM Monday, October 24 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. C.W. Henderson officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral of Atkins. Pallbearers are Aaron Wojhoski, Derek Duvall, Jamie Chronister, Jeremy Chronister, Danny Joe Duvall and Josh Chronister. Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Johnson, William Johnson, Justin Bridges and Nathan Bridges. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Helen Duvall Memorial Fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O. Box 126, Atkins, AR 72823.
