James Dwiggins

James D. Dwiggins, 74, of Atkins, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born November 19, 1940, in Nashville, son of the late Clarence and Pearl Jennings Dwiggins. He was a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church and was the former Vice President of the National Antique Outboard Motor Club Incorporated and President of AOMCI of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jimmy Don Dwiggins. He is survived by his wife, Sleatta Dwiggins of Atkins; daughter, Donna and husband Jeff Riley; 4 sisters, Jeannie Barrett of Hot Springs, Nancy and husband Jim Jessup of Morrilton, Ann and husband Russell Wilson of Hot Springs, and Loretta Blair of Greers Ferry; 3 granddaughters, Mackenzie Gibson, Presley Riley and Emily Riley; 8 nephews and 6 nieces. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, February 27, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Eddie Rodgers officiating. Burial is in Bowden Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday. Pallbearers are Greg Nichols, Larry Wiley, Jeff Riley, Bill Mullinax, Jim Jessup and James Dockins. Honorary pallbearer is Robert Rowland.
