James Hosbach

James Leon Hosbach, 83, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at home in Atkins. He was born January 12, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA., the son of Carl W. and Florence Shelton Hosbach. He was a retired truck driver and retired Assembly of God Minister, attended the Grace Temple Pentecostal Church of God in Russellville and served in U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Opal Hosbach, Florence and Bill Bailey, 2 sisters, Faye Darling and Jo Hosbach. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hosbach of Atkins; son, Henry and wife Cindy Routh of Atkins; daughters, Terry and Jerry Bates of Questa, N.M., Deborah Young of Atkins, Pam Pearson of Hot Springs; brother, Charles Hosbach; 8 Grandsons, Brian Bates, Steven Bates, Mark Miller, Bryan Fain, Jimmy Pearson, Jeffrey Pearson, Jeremy Pearson, Joshua Pearson; 4 granddaughters, Heather Miller, Jessica Taylor, Megan Fain and Gladys Pearson; 18 great grandchildren. Graveside services and Burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, at Oakland Cemetery north of Atkins with Rev. Martin Ochoa officiating. Arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation 12:30-1:30 PM at the funeral Home before service on Wednesday. Pallbearers are Brian Bates, Steven Bates, Mark Miller, Bryan Fain, Bobby Reeves and Joshua Reeves.
