James Loyd Jackson, 67, of Hector died Monday, September 21, 2009, at Johnson County Medical Center. Born September 22, 1941, in Paragould, he was the son of the late Arley and Dolly Burch Jackson. He was also preceded in death by a son, J.L. Jackson, 3 sisters, Juanita Lamastus, Roberta Collins, Mazelee Essinger and a brother, Eugene Jackson. He retired as a sawmiller. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jackson of Hector, 3 daughters, Pamela Simpson of Paragould, Samantha Jackson of Hector, Cansas Hopson of Russellville, 2 sons, Steven Jackson of Russellville and Doyl Jackson of Hector, 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and a brother, Roy Jackson. Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Lemley Funeral Service. Memorials may to be to the James Jackson funeral fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O. Box 126, Atkins, AR 72823.
