James “Jim” L. Philpot Sr., 70, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born May 15, 1945, Sikeston, Missouri, son of the late Elmer Philpot and Ova DeFoe Philpot. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Williams Philpot of Russellville; Daughter, Darla Eckhardt and husband Chris of Waukomis, OK; 3 sons, Tracy Philpot and wife Joni of Waukomis, OK, Jimmy Philpot Jr. and Steven Philpot both of Russellville; 9 grandchildren, Kobi, Blake, Katelyn, Caleb, Dakota, Haley, Kaley, Timothy and Tyler; 2 brothers, Elmer Philpot Jr. and wife Bessie of Russellville, Terry Philpot of Bend, OR, 2 sisters, Billie Miller of Bend, OR, Sherrie Villalobos of McAlister, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.
