Jerry F. Cross, 62, of Dardanelle, died Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born March 28, 1950, in the Atkins Bottoms, the son of W.E. and Bessie Deal Cross. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wanda “Jeanie” Cross of Dardanelle; his son, Johnny F. Cross, Sr. and wife Wanza; three grandsons, Johnny F. Cross, Jr., Andrew Guy Cross and Billy Joe Cross; daughter, Melissa A. Cross; granddaughter, September Renee Nunnelly; four brothers, Donald Cross of Atkins, Chester Cross of Russellville, Robert Cross of Pottsville and Jim Cross of Dardanelle; and one sister, Lola Duvall of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, April 29 at Lemley Chapel. Private burial will be held at a later date. Online obituary and condolences are available at www.lemleyfuneral.com.
