Jewell K. Austin, 88, of Russellville died Thursday, January 24, 2008. She was born January 27, 1919 in Atkins, daughter of the late William M. and Hattie Ann Chandler Mansker. Her husband Derrel Austin also preceded her in death. She was retired from Crompton Mills in Morrilton. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Austin of Jerusalem; granddaughter, Wendy Austin of Jerusalem; three sisters, Emma, Candy and Helen, all of California. Graveside service and burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Scroggins Cemetery north of Morrilton, the Rev. Charles McCamey officiating. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation is open.
