Jimmy Coffman, 79, of Hector, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born September 21, 1939, in Hector, son of the late William Edward and Beatrice Martin Coffman. He was retired from Dow Chemical where he served as HR Manager, and he pastored at Thompson Chapel Church for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, Faye Walker, Arthur E. Coffman, and Irene Coffman Hanna. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Connie Coffman; daughter, Debbie and husband Tony Cochran; 2 sons, Jimmy Coffman Jr., and Roger Coffman and wife Betsy; 8 grandchildren, Earl Cochran, Kayla Robinson (Allen), Tyler Coffman, Lindsey Coffman, Kyle Coffman, Kevin Coffman, Kent Coffman, and Grace Coffman; 2 great-grandchildren, Halina Robinson and Mickey Cochran; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, July 12 at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Larry Don Smith, Bro. Jeff Weir, and Bro. Roy Smith officiating. Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are Tyler Coffman, Allen Robinson, Earl Cochran, Kent Coffman, Kevin Coffman, and Kyle Coffman. Online obituary and condolences are available at www.lemleyfuneral.com.
