Jimmy Roy Thacker, 34, of Russellville went to be with his Lord Thursday, February 2, 2012, at his home. He was born August 23, 1977 in Ripley, Mississippi, to Jerry and Wilma Engle Thacker. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, son, brother and a friend. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football. Jimmy would do anything for anyone and he never met a stranger. He loved to make people laugh, especially his daughters. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Pete Engle and Vernon Thacker; his grandmothers, Beatrice Chatman, Hazel Moore and Wanda Moore and two great-grandmothers. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Crystal Willcutt Thacker; two daughters, Courtney and Cassidy Thacker; his parents, Jerry and Wilma Thacker; two brothers, Kenneth Armesteadt and Delbert Chatman; a sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and J. J. Gray; a sister, Alice Herring; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Sheila Willcutt; two brothers-in-law, Jamie Prater and wife Karen, Matthew Willcutt and wife, Lisa; grandfather, James Moore of Russellville, 2 grandmothers, Doris Thacker of Atkins, Geneva Engle of Appleton, two nephews, Ethan and Chandler Gray; four nieces, Lauren and Kinley Prater, August Willcutt and Alexis Gray. Also several other family members and friends that loved Jimmy very much. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hampton and Rev. James Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Tate Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Pallbearers will be Jamie Prater, Matthew Willcutt, Kenneth Armesteadt, J. J. Gray, Kevin Darter, Bob Williams, Jerry Adams and Kenny Adams. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Beacon Tire, Kenny Darter, Donnie Henderson and Terry Thacker.
