Jimmy Wright, 80, of Atkins, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014, at his home. He was born September 25, 1933, in Clebitt, Oklahoma, son of the late William Edward and Thelma Nichols Wright. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a loving father. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jamie Wright; and a grandson, Jeremy Wright. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Wright; son, Mike Wright; 2 daughters, Phyllis Dunlap and Amy Haden; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Lance Moore, Tasha Flaa, Andee Haden and Chelsea Wright; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Vickers and Ann Dyer; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Private memorial services will be held at a later date with arrangements by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice.
