Jo Ella Owens Powers, 82, of Dover, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Stella Manor of Russellville. She was born June 15, 1938, daughter of the late Chesley and Pearl Laverne Burris Owens. She was preceded by her parents; father of her children, Silas Yates Powers; 3 brothers, L.G. Owens, Bill Owens, L.C. Owens, 1 infant brother; and 2 infant sisters, Alma and Ida Owens. She was survived by her 2 sons, Kerry Powers and wife Teresa Powers and Billy Joe Powers, and Donna Powers; 1 daughter, Wendy Powers Johnson; 1 brother, James Owens; 5 grandchildren, Ashlei (Josh Andrews), Dusty Johnson, Caleb Powers (Lauren), Jace Powers (Kassie), and Lucas Powers; 5 great-grandchildren, Beau Morgan (Nessa), Alley, Harlee, Keagan, and Yates; and other numerous family and friends. She loved working in her flowers and going flea marketing. She loved being with her friends and family. She also enjoyed working with her home health clients who she dearly cared for. Graveside Service and Burial is 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 9, at St. Joe Cemetery of Atkins, with Rev. David Bishop officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
