John Thomas Heflin, 78, of Vilonia, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Vilonia, Arkansas surrounded by his family. He was born April 21, 1931, in Atkins and was the son of the late Roy and Floy Duvall Heflin and preceded in death by his son; Roy J. Heflin. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Heflin of Russellville, daughters and sons-in-law; Darlene and Ronnie Jones of Vilonia, Betty Heflin of Atkins, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Carolyn Heflin of Atkins, stepson, Douglas Nocklos of Atkins, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, brother, Ray Heflin of Atkins, sister, Sue Turner of Perryville. Funeral service is 2:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Lemley Funeral Chapel, the Rev. J.W. Heflin and Rev. Robert Heflin officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial is at Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers are Ronnie Duvall, Paul Ray Heflin, Josh Heflin, Carl D. Duvall, Henry Story, Jerry Pearson and Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Duvall, Jim Fryer, J.L. Duvall, Jerry Fred Chronister, Curley Blaggs, Herman Walker.Obituary
