Jonah Ray Snoddy, 62, of Russellville died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at home. He was born in Pope County July 10, 1948, the son of Richard J. and Lillian Birge Snoddy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Donny Snoddy; and one son, Clarence J. Smith. He is survived by three sons, Johnny Snoddy of Russellville, Joseph Snoddy of Dardanelle and Michael Don Bishop of Wrightsville; four daughters, Joan Martin of London, Patricia Snoddy of Jonesboro, Joyce Forsythe of Russellville and Derdre Rose of Russellville; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Syble Anderson of Dover, Peggy Deeds of Appleton and Linda Gunn of New Blaine; one brother, Johnny R. Snoddy of Russellville, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service and burial will be 10:00a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Delphia Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
