Joshua Allen Bourland, 19, of Atkins, died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born in Russellville September 7, 1991, the son of Russell Bourland and Tammy O`Bryant Johnson. He loved four-wheeling and camping, was a member of the Rod and Reel Club, the BETA Science Club, a student at Arkansas Tech University, and a 2010 graduate of Atkins High School. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Shelby Bourland; two great-grandfathers, John Ellis and Earl O`Bryant; great-grandparents, Russell and Vera Jones; and a cousin, James Bourland. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Russell Bourland and Donna Deeds of Atkins; mother and step-father, Tammy L. and Dennis Johnson of Dardanelle; four sisters, Alisa Nicole Bourland of Dover, Brittany Rene Bourland of Atkins, Destinee Jean Deeds of Atkins, and Sydney Michelle Johnson of Dardanelle; grandfather, Red (F.E.) Bourland of Lamar; grandparents, Robert and Mary O`Bryant of Russellville and Dennis and Donna Johnson of Hector; great-grandmothers, Emma O`Bryant of Danville and Beaula “Granny” Ellis of Rover; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 16, at Lemley Chapel with the Rev. Roy Cain officiating. Burial is in Bowden Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Pallbearers will be Madison McGee, Seth Cochran, Gene Bourland, David Bourland, D. J. Glover, James Bateman and Zachary Kinder. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Kemp, Jr., Chris Smith and Phillip Kemp.
