Judy Christine Owens, 52, of Atkins, died Sunday, November 18, 2007, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Russellville. She was born February 18, 1955, in Atkins, and was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Lula Pope McCain. She was also preceded in death by a son, Carl Lee Pitts. She is survived by her husband, Gary D. Owens of Grady, AR; 2 daughters, Christina Pitts of Diamond City, AR and Diana Pitts of Atkins; 3 brothers, Robert McCain of Pottsville, Tommy and Frankie McCain both of Atkins; 4 sisters, Nina Duvall , Janie Butler , Darlene Ethridge all of Atkins, Teresa Hogue of California and 8 grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be at 10:00 AM Friday, November 23, 2007, at Bells Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Hank Duvall officiating. Pallbearers are Jerry Pitts, Dwayne Bischel, Nicholas Bischel, Buzz Burns, Mike Sikes, Frankie Lynn McCain. Honorary Pallbearer is Will Pizzotti. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service.
