Katherine J. York, of Cleveland, AR died Tuesday, February 5, 2008, as her home. She was born August 30, 1939, in Cabool, MO, and was the daughter of the late George and Ruby Powers Kentner. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Turner, a son, Roger Turner; a sister, Wanda Chowning and a grandson, Jeremiah Collins. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Stan and Marsha Collins of Thornfield, MO, Steve Collins of Cleveland, AR; a daughter and son-in-law, Lesa and Gary Friend of Ragsdale, MO; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, George Kentner, Jr. of Lebanon, MO, Ronnie Kentner of Mountain View, MO, Wayne Kentner of Fayetteville, AR and 4 sisters, Christine Allen of Mansfield, MO, Gladys Staff of Mesa, AZ, Joyce Smith of Springfield, MO and Sharon Yates of Fayetteville, AR. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 9, 2008, at *Lemley Funeral Chapel in Atkins* with Rev. Charles Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in Hensley Cemetery in Mansfield, MO. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday. Pallbearers will be Harold Yates, George Kentner, Jr., Ronnie Kentner, Wayne Kentner, Andy Smith, Stephen Collins and Daniel Collins. *Due to power outages at the Church, the funeral has been moved to our Chapel*Obituary
