Lillian S. Bizzell Obituary

Lillian Dale Bizzell, 80 of Atkins died Monday, March 23, 2009, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Morrilton. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Wilma Loyd Sweeden and was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Sweeden, and a sister, Juanita Hegeman. She was a member of the Atkins United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, served as a Sunday School teacher and church treasurer. She was retired from the Atkins Pickle Company (Dean Foods). She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Elmo Bizzell; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosanna and Lynn Embry; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Hope and Aaron Petty; a great-granddaughter, Macie Petty, all of Atkins; a sister and brother-in-law, Jo and Noel Kyle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Inez Sweeden; a brother-in-law, Euel Harelson, both of Atkins; a brother-in-law and his wife, Benard and Betty Hegeman of Hector and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at Lemley Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 25th at 10:30 PM by the Rev Robert Woody and Rev. David Bishop. Burial will be in the Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of lemley Funeral service. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday. Pallbearers will be David Harelson, Dennis Harelson, Erick Sweeden, Donny Barefield, Scott Nicholson, Eddie Martin, Lonnie Napier and Philip Klober. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Atkins United Methodist Church, c/o Maribeth Durbin, 206 NW 17th Street, Atkins, AR 72823.
