Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Lonnie C. Burgess, 72, of Pottsville passed away June 19, 2009, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville after a long illness. He was born April 29, 1937, in England, Arkansas, only son of the late Lonnie Carl, Sr. and Ailene Edwards Burgess. He was the owner of Jon-Boy Trucking Company and had been an accident free driver for 52 years and proudly served 25 years with the Teamsters Union. An avid outdoorsmen, he loved fishing, hunting and camping. A devoted member of the Universal Life Church, he leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Deborah E. Burgess of Pottsville; children, Kristine and her husband David Hall of Pottsville, Wes Burgess Eaves of Pottsville. Children out of state include, Jimmy Eaves, Lonnie Burgess III, Pamela Carlene, Cindy and Deborah of Arizona, a sister, Helen Grissom of Arizona.
