Margaret Bartlett, 83, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born September 13, 1932, in Appleton, daughter of the late Covey D. and Janie Pauline Tuck Bartlett. She was a member, elder, and treasurer of the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by 2 brothers, James Bartlett and wife Wynona, and John Bartlett and wife Ann; nephew and niece, Beverly Bartlett Turner and John Bradley Bartlett; 4 great-nieces and nephews, Simon and Eli Turner, and Josey and Brodey Bartlett; and several cousins. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Monday, April 25, at Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randall Williams and Rev. Steve Mosley officiating. Burial is in Appleton Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church or to the Appleton Cemetery, 171 Tate St., Atkins, AR 72823.
