Margie Martin, 93, of Atkins, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at her home. She was born February 9, 1922, in Caglesville, daughter of the late Will and Elsie Tyler Linton. She retired from Atkins Pickle Co. and was a charter member of the Hillcrest Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley Martin; son, Finis Martin; daughter-in-law, Scottie Martin; great-grandchildren, Jerricka Sweeden and Dustin Brown; and great-great-grandson, Ethan Hicks. She is survived by 3 sons, Bill Martin, Jerry Martin, and Charles Martin and wife Janie, all of Atkins; 3 daughters, Kathryn and husband Carl Long of Morrilton, Marilyn and husband J.L. Deal, and Louise and husband Robbie Sweeden, all of Atkins; 2 sisters, Viv Alston and Virginia Crum; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 30, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Donald Shipley and Rev. Bob Branch officiating. Burial is in Bowden Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday. Pallbearers are grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons. Memorials in her honor may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 East Parkway, Suite 3, Russellville, Arkansas 72802.
