Marilyn “Sue” Nelson, 64, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Legacy Heights Nursing Center in Russellville. She was born May 22, 1953, in Atkins, daughter of the late L.G. and Nola Kinslow Duvall. She was of the Free Will Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Nelson; her parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and husband Larry Dotson. She is survived by 2 sons, Josh Nelson and wife Kelli, and Jason Nelson and wife Ellen; 4 grandchildren, Josh Nelson, Jr., Drake Nelson, Ashlyn Nelson, and Kaden Nelson; brother, Rev. Hank Duvall and wife Debbie; 3 sisters, Karen and husband Billy Churchill, Janice and husband Bobby Boyd, and Delilah Avery; several nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon, Monday, October 16, at Lemley Chapel, with a private family burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
